Notes: | Pianist Lucio Demare returned to Buenos Aires on January 19th, 1932. With Roberto Fugazot and Agustín Irusta he formed the Trío Argentino, very popular in Spain in the late 1920s. This is his composition dedicated to Mexican actress Lupe Vélez. Fresedo's recording is mislabeled as "T. Ibáñez" being present, instead we hear as the leading voice Agistin Irusta. The recording was announced in the February 1932 issue of the magazine Aconcagua, and given the timeline of events we infer it was recorded in either January or early February of the same year. |
